Memorial stone, 1443, Stiftskirche (Abbey Church)
The stone commemorating the Aschaffenburg citizen Petrus Scheckemecher from 1443 in the northern porch of the Abbey Church of St. Peter and Alexander shows Mary’s temple walk in the relief. To the side are her parents Anne and Joachim. As is common in medieval depictions, Joachim is marked as a Jew with a pointed hat.
